Amsterdam University College is housed in one of the nicest buildings of Amsterdam. It was designed by Mecanoo Architects, and was awarded the Gouden AAP (Amsterdam Architecture Prize) in 2013.

AUC's students come from all over the world. At AUC Margriet teaches academic English and physics. She also helps to organise Who’s in Town Lectures, given by international top researchers.
